Great article on the short sale process here in Phoenix, AZ. Good point about getting that first offer in to the bank, it’s so crucial to get the ball rolling. It is my understanding that you may contact any FHA lender, and find out if they are set up to help you with this program. Some FHA lenders will be able to help, and some will not. Once you’ve found an FHA lender that can help, you’ll be able to work with them to get the program in motion. The program does require that your current lender voluntarily agrees to release the lien at the amount necessary to make the program work. Michael,
